1940 TWA Airline printed ad. featuring the most advanced civil airplane of the time – The Boeing 307 Stratoliner.

It was the first to offer a pressurised cabin, allowing it to cruise at an altitude of 6000m, well above many weather disturbances. The Model 307 had capacity for a crew of 6 and 33 passengers. It was the first land-based aircraft to include a flight engineer as a crew member.
